Volunteers Needed
The RAAB Auction Committee needs 8-10 Rio student/athletes who can volunteer to work check-in and check-out for the Fall Social on Sat. Sept. 28 at The Center. We need kids that can handle the computer check-in and check-out process and get folks through the line as quickly as possible. We’ll also need students to run to the silent auction tables and pick up items for those checking out. We need students from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. They will be provided dinner. The busiest times are 5-6:30pm and then from 8:30-9:30pm. If the students are also Civitas students, Ms. Seibel will sign off on volunteer hours for them.
Please let Annemarie Gowan know if your student is interested: annemariegowan@gmail.com
We have the opportunity to raise money for the team and have a great team experience. The Rio Cross Country team has been asked to work a water station at this years Urban Cow race on October 6th as well as The Run to Feed the Hungry on Thanksgiving Day. We need 20 Student Athletes to work at each of these events. We have done these events the last couple of years and it is always a fun team experience and a chance to be out supporting the Sacramento running community. This is a great opportunity to earn volunteer hours for your college resume.
