Capital Athletic League Meet (October 10th)

Students will have an Early Dismissal at 2:30. We would like all athletes at Willow Hills no later than 3:15. There is no school provided transportation for this meet, please coordinate transportation for your athlete. School Administration has asked us to remind parents that it discourages students giving other students a ride. If you are having your student athlete get a ride from another student, you must have a note from a parent of both parties authorizing this. Additionally, please remember California State Law requires a driver have their license for 1 year prior to driving with others in the vehicle. We will have a tent set up in the team camp area for athletes. Look for the Rio Raiders tent!

Dinner/Team Build Event (October 13th)

We are trying to put together a fun team build night for the athletes. We are working on organizing a dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory, to be followed by a visit to Heartstoppers Haunted House on Folsom Boulevard in Rancho Cordova. We are working through the logistics and will send out more information once we have this organized. We will need parent volunteers to help with transportation. If you can help with transportation, please text coach Anton at 916-801-8110.

Hoka One One Postal Nationals (October 17th)

We will be participating in the HOKA ONE ONE Postal Nationals held on the Jesuit High School Track. This is a 2 mile race held on a track. We will likely have an early dismissal from school for this race. Stay tuned for more information.

RAAB Membership Dues

If you haven’t already done so, please pay your RAAB dues as soon as possible. Dues are $75 per player for one sport, or $125 for the year for multiple sports. These dues are critical to the success of our Athletic Programs at Rio, paying for coaching stipends, operating expenses, uniforms etc. It’s a small amount to pay for all that our children receive from the sports programs.
