Rio Track & Field welcomes Lea Wallace to coaching staff

Lea Wallace - USA Track & Field Middle Distance RunnerThe Rio Americano High School Track & Field program would like to welcome highly decorated middle distance runner, Lea Wallace, to the coaching staff.

Lea is four-time NCAA All-American with Personal Records of 2:00.30 in the 800m and 4:09.13 in the 1500m.

  • 2012 Olympic Trials Semi­finalist
  • 2011 NCAA Div­I Outdoor All­American, 800m

  • 2010 NCAA Div­I Outdoor All­American, 800m

  • 2011 Sacramento State Student Athlete of the Year

  • Only athlete in nation to qualify in both the 800m and 1500m at 2011 NCAA Outdoor Championships

  • Seven-­time Conference Champion (800m, 1500m, Mile, 1600m Relay)
